At Make-A-Wish® UK, our mission to reach every child in the UK living with critical conditions is driven by a robust community and volunteering strategy which I lead. This initiative has successfully launched a novel platform for gift-in-kind donations, significantly aiding in offsetting the costs of granting wishes, as well as creating new volunteer-led opportunities for income growth. With my expertise in transformative programmes and community development, we've empowered a growing network of volunteers, enhancing our capability to bring joy to our wish families and fulfill our organizational goals.Since taking on my current role, the focus has been on fostering greater community participation and volunteer engagement. Our collective efforts have resulted in a strengthened support system for wish families and the expansion of our volunteer base across the UK. With nearly five years of experience at Make-A-Wish® UK, my leadership is marked by a passion for creating connections that elevate our wish-granting endeavors, ensuring that every child's wish is within reach.
