Working in a private practice therapeutic setting allows me to develop deeper connection with clients and watch clients grow and continually practice resiliency. I primarily work with adults, specializing in trauma therapy. I work from a cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy theory. Skills I use include developing and maintaining rapport, utilization of research based interventions, and helping clients have insights discovered by self.

As a case manager therapist I have had the chance to work with both patients in acute inpatient and a partial hospitalization setting. I complete psychosocial assessment, create person centered treatment plans and facilitate the discharge plan. I have worked with adolescents through older adults with a variety of mood disorders, thought disorders, substance abuse, and personality disorders.
