I am the Transcription Plus Principal and sole operator with over 38+ years of experience in secretarial and transcription services.After graduating from Kinman Business University in Spokane, WA in 1984, I moved back to North Idaho where I worked as a paralegal for Callahan & Associates, Chtd. (formerly Callahan & Prohaska, Chtd. and The Prohaska Law Firm). As a paralegal, I managed the Sandpoint, ID and Coeur d'Alene, ID offices, drafted over 3,000 estate plans, worked closely with clients, and collaborated in the design and implementation of the 4D System used to generated financial documents.In 1999, now having gotten married and had a daughter, I moved on from Callahan & Associates, Chtd. to my own business, Transcription Plus, where I provided contract work for North Idaho municipalities, psychologists, law firms, and North Idaho Court Reporting.Looking to try a new career now that my daughter was in school, in 2003 I joined Bonner County Justice Services where I started out as a transcriptionist and secretary, but soon moved up to the department's Administrative Assistant II and then Manager/Deputy Clerk. While Manager, I was a key member of the team that implemented the Odyssey court system for the state of Idaho.Now in 2022, while not wanting to fully retire but to have more time for family and the our ranch, I decided to move on from Bonner County Justice Services to start up Transcription Plus again where I provide my now 38+ years of experience to those needing professional secretarial and transcription services, including data entry.
