Multi-state contracts in the Primary Care Offices. Assist in the determination of Health Professional Shortage Area Designations and National Health Services Corps recruitment and retention efforts.

•Principle Investigator for HRSA Funded Primary Care Office grant. Primary deliverables include: -Develop and produce Alaska's statewide primary care needs assessment Coordinate Health Professional Shortage designation submissions, data management, and Auto HPSA rescoring process. -Provide technical assistance and collaboration with Community Health Centers, Alaska Primary Care Association, and other state and national entities focused on strengthening rural and community health systems. -Acting liaison between Alaska National Health Service Corps (NHSC) facility sites and Region X Division of Regional Operations for NHSC funding.• Establish and maintain relationships with other medical facilities, outside agencies and primary care partners as pertinent to the primary care office mission and role.• Work to create innovative initiatives to address Alaska's health workforce shortage needs.• PCO National Committee Region X representative, 2021 to present

• Primary lead on health workforce policy activities and initiatives. -Advocacy work related to provider loan repayment programs such as SHARP 3 legislation & HPSA rescoring process as it impacts NHSC eligibility. -Technical Assistance to Community Health Centers through management of workforce listserv, recruitment job board management, and hosting quarterly workforce recruitment and retention webinars and peer learning calls. -Conduct yearly workforce needs assessment to document workforce challenges and technical assistance needs of Community Health Centers. • Primary lead on Emergency Preparedness compliance activities and initiatives -Provide technical assistance and support to community health centers to ensure that their Emergency Management Programs are in compliance with Federal guidelines.• Advocacy Trainer to Community Health Centers staff and board members.• Follow and track legislation as it relates to Community Health Centers such as reauthorization of 330 funding, expansion of Medicaid billable provider types, and the State Medicaid budget process.

• Managed the overall quality improvement culture and processes at the consumer level, staff level, and organization level while utilizing the Patient Centered Medical Home model as a framework for change management.• Program Manager of the Ryan White Grant Part C (Early Intervention Services) which included management of the grant application and reporting processes, budget tracking, as well as management of HIV registries and Quality Improvement projects related to HIV patient care. • Oversaw the Meaningful Use Attestation project and assisted in the analysis of data and trends as well as the development of strategies for improvement.• Directed the population health registry process to identify and assess barriers to care, development of goal setting, and evaluation of outcomes.• Supervised and trained staff and volunteers on population health projects.

• Assisted the Quality Integration Director with the preparation of Ryan White client level data for grant reporting purposes and quality improvement operations.• Provided data analysis support and tracking of defined clinical measures and prepared reports on a monthly basis for a variety of key stakeholders including consumers, staff, board members, grant agencies and the community at large.

• Coordinated and assisted special populations, such as HIV and OB patients, navigate the health care system to ensure patient care plans and self-management goals were met.• Provided effective daily communication with Primary Care Providers and nursing staff to discuss and identify appropriate continuity of care for the team's panel of patients.

• Assisted Anchorage Neighborhood Health clients with health insurance applications through the Healthcare Marketplace and maintained up to date knowledge of federal and state Health Insurance regulations.

• Assisted in the management of human resource and financial data entry, analysis, and processing as well as providing general office managerial duties. • Acted as liaison between the Board of Directors and the Alaska Humanities Forum staff through coordinating meetings, facilitating catering and special events, scheduling travel itineraries, as well as providing general announcements and efficient documentation of meetings.
