Spontaneously moved to Switzerland, for new experiences in a different culture. My main position includes being part of the team of the hotel's two-Michelin Star restaurant Pavillon. Administration, guest contact and communication with all departments of the hotel cover the main part of my daily activities. Flexibility in these tough, unexpected times enables me to work in different areas and in a diversity of functions throughout the Baur au Lac Hotel.

Organised a wedding on Mallorca. Traveling, arranging meetings, keeping overview, communicating in several languages, making sure every aspect of the wedding is arranged and on time, of course all in accordance with the wishes of the bride and groom. Organising the wedding was mainly done remotely from the Netherlands.

Working as supporting employee in a field formerly unknown for me enabled to discover a different side of business. I was offered several opportunities, to explore the field of HR by getting involved in recruitment, to deploy my skills in working individually and managing my own tasks, and to report to and collaborate with seniors and other colleagues throughout the company. Furthermore, working at TriFinance enabled further development in both personal skills and knowledge, while working in a friendly, interesting and engaging environment.

Through organising the Number 1 International Student Event of Rotterdam I learned a lot about event organizing and managing, in both stable and uncertain and stressful situations. The event takes place four times a year, for approximately 1200-2000 students.

Start-up experience. Working for a start-up gave me a thorough business environment experience. Solving problems, discussing strategic options, creating brand awareness and organizing events were core of my daily work.

I have worked as a flexible employee at the hospitality recruitment agency Mise en Place. Working for this agency gave me the opportunity to work in diverse work spaces with different colleagues and different hospitality jobs.

I have worked as Assistant Maître D’ at restaurant The Delaunay. The main part of my job was to communicate with guests from all over the world and to make sure that everything in the restaurant went smoothly by keeping a broad overview and by providing the management relevant information.

During my time as trainee at two insurance companies I have learned a lot about insurance, but even more about the general business world. I have worked at different departments of the companies and I have seen and experienced a lot of different aspects of the international business environment.

I have worked in a team for over a year at an ice cream store and confectionery as vendor. Therefore, I was a lot in contact with customers and colleagues and I gained more responsibilities over time.
