At Lifetime Arts, we work to ensure that older adults everywhere have access to high-quality Creative Aging programs, regardless of geographic location or economic circumstances. The health benefits of continued learning, art making, and social engagement are undeniable, but it can be hard for older adult serving organizations to pull together the resources for programming. Lifetime arts works with all sorts of organizations to develop sustainable programming plans, as well as training and supporting their staff and teaching artists. We also advocate for the importance of integrating creative aging into the social fabric of our communities.My role is focused on helping guide strategic projects across the organization, to ensure we have as much impact as possible within our capacity.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work freelance for a wide variety of commercial and non-profit organizations as a designer, filmmaker, creative producer, and content writer. From redesigning the branding for small businesses to producing and directing music videos, this range of creative work has given me an insight into the production process for all forms of digital and visual media as well as entertainment. Former employers include 20th Century Fox, Imagi Animation Studios, Nickelodeon, and a large variety of smaller commercial and nonprofit organizations. In addition, I maintain a media-based art practice inclusive of moving images, sound, performance, photography, and sculptural installation. It is my belief that a personal rootedness in visual arts facilitates continual innovation, critical thinking and out-of-the box problem-solving in my other work. I am passionate about using the vast range of artistic and design knowledge to creatively drive forward the mission of the purpose-focused organizations I work with.

City as Living Laboratory (CALL) works with artists, scientists, and residents of urban communities to create sustainable solutions for urgent environmental issues including climate, equity and health. We help people connect environmental challenges to personal experience and take action. My work at CALL crosses multiple areas of nonprofit program management, strategic development, and communications.

Growing future designers and community advocates in Harlem & Washington Heights! In addition to my work at CALL, I taught design classes to High School and Middle School students in Northern Manhattan. From helping young people envision the future of their city through Urban Design to enabling them to build the graphic design and copywriting skills to innovatively advocate for locally important issues, this work has given me an insight into the lives and passions of this emerging generation of leaders. From this vantage point, the future is looking good.

Hired by the Board of Trustees to launch a poverty alleviation project in one of England’s most deprived local authorities, I built a sustainable and successful not-for-for profit on the Trussell Trust social franchise model.•Transformed project with 12 volunteers & a small self-storage unit into robust organisation with over 250 volunteers, 3-4 staff, a 3000sq foot warehouse & 4 satellite centres•Raised over £350,000 through events, grants, giving & sponsorship. •Redistributed 95 metric tonnes of food to over 12,000 people in crisis•Developed partnerships with over 250 local and national organisations•Engaged with the thriving artistic community in Hackney through artist residency & curating fundraising painting and photography exhibitions•Acted as a spokesperson for Hackney Foodbank and Trussell Trust in local, national and international media including Huffington Post, Business Insider, ITV, BBC London, The Guardian, & New Statesman.•Executed over 30 public events reaching thousands of potential supporters.
