Recently I've co-authored an important review of Environmental Risk in the Natural Rubber sector that included actionable pragmatic steps to be taken today to mitigate those risks, designed an assurance platform for UNDP SDG Impact Standards, investigated a grievance filed in the carbon markets setting, laid the framework for implementation of exciting new opportunities for a new model of shared financing, advised on strategic marketing programs for the innovative sourcing approach for one of the worlds largest suppliers of food and agri-business products, drafted Impact Investing Standards for Fund Managers, been named an Advisor to ProForest and other high impact advisory roles.The focus of my work is on Strategic Planning, Policy Development and Implementation, Supply Chain reviews, Impact definition and Project Management. Engagements are with Standard setting Organizations, Private Sector corporations and NGO's. Recent clients have included Proforest, The Gold Standard Foundation, Olam, Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR), Bonsucro and RSPO. I've worked for 20 plus years in diverse multicultural and widely dispersed global settings. I have deep familiarity as well with private sector needs and concerns and have successfully crafted responses that leverage the strengths of multi-stakeholder approaches while ensuring progress is made toward the shared goals that are becoming ever more urgent. Served as a Board Member to the organization based in Denmark with 10 regional offices and staff in 27 global locations, the organization delivers certification services, engages in improving certification schemes and through strategic input influences policy on issues regarding sustainable consumption. We also engaged in project work based on a wide range of topics including Forest Management Planning, Standards Development, and developing strategies, tools and technology solutions to illegal forest harvesting and other challenges faced by long & complex global supply chains. Managing the work involved in establishing the organization as an independent global intergovernmental entity in Germany and managed the transition and relocation from Rome to Bonn as the organization established its global administrative structures.

Established a new Business Unit with global focus on building markets and market recognition for the organization and its participants. Developed a platform intended to increase organization funding through establishment of a global licensing program and to strengthen the global network through development of linkages between local offices and certificate holders and application of significantly improved technological tools. Focus was also dedicated to fostering and supporting credible engagement with large users of products coming from sustainably managed forests regarding supply chain management and promotional activities.

Initiated a complex of work designed to build market recognition and demand for sustainable products throughout targeted supply chains in the global forest product marketplace. This work focused on developing partnerships with producer and manufacturing companies and influential users of products (paper, packaging, building supplies, furniture) and other NGO's.Market development focused on a variety of strategies that included brand management, messaging, outreach campaigns, client education, sales training, advertising and other strategic programs. These programs supported a global network of FSC participants and their supply chain partners through a combination of push and pull strategies combined with efforts to broaden the supply chain at all points through recruitment of new participants. Strong working partnerships with other NGO's were also integral to this program of work.Significant success was realized with large scale growth in product awareness, market recognition and demand, strong partnerships in multiple industries all following as indicators of impact and success. Success was realized in measures as diverse as increased demand for certified products, a growth in brand recognition, and importantly significant and ongoing growth in demand for certified products.

Responsible for building the operations and performance reporting function for a newly established firm that became the market leader in serving the Independent Financial Advisor community. As the organization grew we built systems to support the function from the first account to several Billion of assets under management for Separately Managed Accounts averaging $250,000 in size. Managed growth from staff of 2 through 35 in a three year period, while developing technology solutions to leverage our work.

Managed a staff within the high net worth retail securities broker within the Private Bank that delivered "best practices" in operational and compliance based training and partnerships with sales teams. Supervised staff in both local and remote locations. Results included successful audits from both internal and external regulatory agencies and staff.
