I collaborate with project leadership in conceiving and conveying exhibition goals, messages, and visitor experience strategies. I work closely with internal project teams, managers, external project partners, advisors, and clients to ensure projects meet stated project goals effectively, efficiently, and to established museum standards. I don't directly manage staff, but lead the overall project development process. I operate autonomously and may lead projects myself.

Conduct demonstrations and interpret exhibits for visitors and users, including researching answers to staff/visitors questions, preparing background information packets, and developing and writing volunteer training modules. Interview, train, supervise, and evaluate volunteer and paid staff. Maintain exhibit security, including recording material/equipment breakage, troubleshooting and performing or scheduling repairs and other maintenance, ensuring adequate supplies, and enforcing all museum rules and operations/emergency procedures. Assist with planning and implementation of special events related to the exhibit. Develop operating budget. Help to develop proposals for funding. Serve on the Paleontology Science Hall project team.
