Jun 2015 - Present

Chief Creative Officer And Administrative Assistant

Current

Miami, Florida, United States

As Creative Director at Jordan Anderson, a versatile agency specializing in talent management and recruitment marketing, I lead both creative and administrative functions, serving as the right hand to the CEO. My role involves conducting competitive research, strategic planning, and overseeing operational efforts to successfully reposition the JA brand. By revitalizing our business strategy, enhancing our branding, and re-organizing the entire business backend, I significantly boosted growth and fortified our market standing. Through strategic development that led to increased CEO function, I forged impactful connections with our audience and increased brand bandwith. Notably, these efforts led to a substantial increase of $2 million in sales within just three months, driven by the successful rebranding and operational improvements.

Mar 2023 - Present

Ecd, Coo

Washington D.C. Metro Area

I was initially contracted to audit and consult on the experiential event. It was clear that DC Swim Week (DCSW) needed a true brand with tangible meaning and purpose allowing the show to be the essential embodiment of that brand at all customer touch points. After auditing the competition and old brand, I launched a 2017 campaign that centered around a new sleek, succinct, and high-end brand image. Subsequently, I went from Creative Director to VP of Sales, to finally Executive Creative Director and Head of Operations, working with a team of epic direct reports; this show was a true feat. DCSW was soon positioned as a high end, avante-garde, experiential, social networking event in DC for makers, designers, buyers and artists beyond. A decade of NYC fashion hubris, my ability to manage twenty thousand square feet, combined with the founder of DCSW’s hospitality background; and a truly loyal team made this 360-degree re-brand and event creation a nominal success. I designed every facet of the French Embassy (location) making it very clean, and crisp, with an open and cruise feeling; large florals in place; a white, open space put the entire focus on swimwear. I added experiential aspects to the show like booths and was able to attain sponsors and vendors. With 6 months, 5 direct reports and a team of 60+ volunteers, we tirelessly reinvented every detail of the 2017 show from conception to completion: model curation, bazaar and runway design to even stage production, etc. Overall responsible for Operations, Sales, Sponsorships, Design, Volunteer Recruitment, Legal, and PR; this was a major major accomplishment. The 2017 show was called the best DC Swim Week and Fashion Show ever experienced in DC - by the publisher of Washington Life magazine! I was awarded 40<40 for this show's success specifically.
