I explore the ins and outs of business utilizing the leading online marketplace in Malaysia (Shopee & Lazada).Roles & responsibilities:● Source, design and produce products to sell in the online store to ensure a good product selection for customers.● Manage relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring timely delivery of goods.● Employing Power BI as a tool for inventory management to actively monitor stock levels to ensure consistent availability of products for customers. ● Design and update e-commerce channels to improve the customer experience and drive sales.● Manage e-commerce operations across multiple channels, including Shopee and Lazada utilizing BigSeller, a software as service (SaaS) platform to automate and streamline e-commerce operations.● Develop and execute marketing campaigns to attract new customers and increase sales.● Provide excellent customer service to increase customer satisfaction and retention achieving 97.64% five stars reviews.● Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements to ensure financial stability and growth.Significant accomplishments:Improved operational efficiency and reduced costs by implementing process improvements and automation tools, enabling managing the business single-handedly.

I was attached with Centre for Intelligent Signal and Imaging Research, a Higher Education Center of Excellence (HICoE) and Institut Image, a research laboratory in virtual reality located in Chalon-sur-Saône, France.Roles & responsibilities:● Design, develop, and execute two experiments on driving distractions, creatively designed and configured utilizing readily available equipment in the laboratory resulting to low research cost.● Implement data wrangling on acquired data from driving simulator, electroencephalography (EEG) device, eye tracking device and questionnaires ensuring data integrity and creating a labelled database.● Research and implement data transformation on EEG data (from time domain to frequency domain) to get meaningful information that is useful for the investigated research questions.● Compute statistical test such as Shapiro-Wilk, ANOVA, Friedman test, paired T-test and signed test to answer research questions.● Built and evaluate Support Vector Machine and Random Forest Machine learning algorithms using Python to detect driving distraction, with a feature selection model to improve F1-score.● Design, develop, and lead a virtual reality driving experiment in collaboration with two master students from the University of Burgundy to establish the proof-of-concept of Vicariance theory developed by Professor Alain Berthoz.● Present research findings to experts and engaged in knowledge exchange with students, researchers, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.● Communicate research to non-scientific audiences, including foreign students, engineering students and nursing students.Significant accomplishments:The first UTP PhD student to successfully completed 18 months research attachment at Institut Image, France (ENSAM – Renault joint laboratory) and encouraged continuation of collaboration between both universities.

Roles & responsibilities:● Design, develop, and perform experiment on a new proposed sensor for the development of a Close Loop Functional Electrical Stimulator on four able-bodied subjects.● Perform experiment and data analysis on two Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) patients as a pilot study to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed new sensor.● Design, develop, test, and validate a communication and interface application to transmit experimental protocols from LabView to Rehastim1™ by HASOMED GmbH.● Improve codes and enable ‘time mode’ and ‘stroke mode’ capabilities in MATLAB for Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Rowing system integration with manual control of Rehastim1™.● Design and develop two automatic controls on FES Rowing system (state machine and fuzzy logic) for the use of future projects.● Support data collection of other master and PhD students in Universiti Malaya and University of Sydney.● Recruit and lead 41 undergraduate volunteers in supporting an international conference (IFESS 2014) and ensure smooth operation of the conference while hosting the delegates.● Responsible for scouting three potential speakers for a special forum “Babysteps: FES in Asian Countries” and hosting them during the IFESS conference.Significant accomplishments:● Received ‘Best Paper Award’ at the International Symposium on Medical and Rehabilitation Robotics and Instrumentation (MRRI 2013) for the validation work on the new proposed sensor.● Completed 3 months of research attachment at Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydney for research collaboration on development of FES Rowing system for SCI patients, resulting in 2 publications.● Demonstrated excellent teamwork and collaboration skills in successfully hosting an international conference with committees from 6 universities and local hospitals, attended by participants from 18 countries, setting a higher standard for future conference host.

Roles & responsibilities:● Implement the company consolidation and rationalization work and analytics as part of Corporate Client Management (CCM) project to optimize Talent Corp’s (TC) company engagement and product outreach.● Serve as the liaison with programme owners and provide administrative support for the upskilling programmes.● Coordinate the involvement of related parties, selected vendors and manage the preparations for Sector Focus Career Fair for local talent.Significant accomplishments:6 months secondment to Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad as part of Malaysian Talent Development department in implementing projects for fresh graduates and being part of Corporate Client Management Project team to optimize TC’s company engagement and product outreach.

Unit: Talent Supply Capture (TSC)Roles & responsibilities:● Execute schedule planning and logistics for milk round events in the US, Australia, and local career fairs ensuring that these events ran smoothly and efficiently, enabling our company to effectively connect with top talent.● Manage and meticulously track the budgets for all TSC projects, ensuring that resources were effectively allocated and utilized.● Maintain project status reports and conduct regular status updates with the Project Management Office (PMO).Unit: National Talent Management – GLC Human Capital Action Plan (NTM-GHAP)Roles & responsibilities:● Execute the Cross Assignment and Cross Fertilization programme, ensuring smooth operations and achievement of strategic goals within the expected timeframe.● Coordinate activities, including managing interactions with talent coordinators of host and home companies (participating GLCs and government-JPA), organizing trainings, team building events, and alumni gatherings.● Provide support for other Orange Book GLC Transformation Programme initiatives, ensuring their successful execution.● Serve as a liaison with vendors for change requests related to the MyWorkLife website, ensuring timely and efficient implementation of these requests.Significant accomplishments:● Self-driven and experience in being part of a team who executed various multifaceted projects of human capital action plan as part of GLC Transformation Programme.● Absorbed into a permanent position following a 6-months attachment through the Graduate Employability Management Scheme (GEMS) programme.

Roles & responsibilities:● Develop an automated data processing script to summarize the VBIOS functions on the team's Unit Level Testing (ULT) machine to support graphic driver validation testing by software engineers.● Develop a graphical user interface to query the HDMI driver for audio latency during IEGD validation testing.● Develop an OpenGL ES application on Windows CE to test the graphic driver's capabilities using a bootable pen drive.● Develop a driver capability test program and run 3DMark feature tests on the test environment for each new version of the graphic driver before release.● Optimize IEGD codes to reduce memory usage and improve code speed.● Set up test environments with different hardware, operating systems, and graphic drivers for the team to use for testing.Significant accomplishments:Expanded the Window CE project into final year project and successfully developed a proof of concept of “In-Vehicle Infotainment Dual Display Shell System” with hardware and software provided by the IEGD team for development work.
