As a coordinator for the Harvard First Generation Program, I serve as a resource for prospective first-generation students and current Harvard students. I reply to emails and questions that they may have about first-gen life at Harvard, navigating the application process, financial aid, and more. Additionally, I work with the other coordinators to host information sessions and tours, publish a monthly newsletter, plan events, and conduct outreach via email and social media.

Through the Harvard-Radcliffe Institute, I mentor high school sophomores who have been identified and nominated as leaders by their teachers. I support them as they expand their interest and knowledge on youth leadership, social movements, civic engagement, and social change. I guide them as they develop community service projects through weekly mentoring sessions.interested in leadership development and support their community project.

I am a part of Harvard's chapter of Engineers Without Borders and have worked on the Los Sanchez project over the past semesters. Los Sanchez is a high elevation community in the Dominican Republic that we have worked with to design and construct a water distribution system. I am in the QGIS team and visually modeled the water distribution system, the community, and survey data from trips to the community. I have also served on the communications team and have negotiated with contractors, engaged with community leaders on a weekly basis, and created contracts and budgets. I served as a Spanish translator during the August 2024 trip to Los Sanchez and helped to construct the transmission line and second water storage tank, work through distribution plans with community members, and assess existing parts of the system.

I support 8 first-year students during their first year of college as they transition from high school to Harvard. I meet one-on-one with them on a monthly basis to discuss exploring different fields of study, chooses courses, balancing extracurriculars and social life, directing them towards campus resources. I host larger, casual study breaks for them on a weekly basis so that they can ask me any questions that they have.

HACIA Democracy simulates the The Summit of the Americas, which is the largest proceedings of the Organization of American States in the world. I previously chaired The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States Committee, in which Latin American high school students interest in advancing democracy debated my bulletin on Climate Regulations in Latin America. I am currently chairing the Pan-American Health Association Committee and will have student debate my bulletin on Respiratory Health Impacts of Climate Change.

As a youth member of this committee, I work closely with community representatives and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to implement Assembly Bill 617 and reduce air pollution in Richmond/San Pablo, CA. I attend monthly community steering committee meetings, am an active member of the fuel refining ad-hoc committee, contribute to and provide feedback for strategies and plan drafts, lead community engagement efforts, and engage in critical development of the program’s implementation.

I interned for Youth Vs Apocalypse during Summer 2024 through the Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship at Harvard. As an Organizational Management Intern, I contributed to the planning and facilitation of the Environmental Justice Leadership Series, participated in crucial organization development and long-term strategy, researched and applied to grants, and led social media content creation.

Matched with GAP Inc., the GAP Technology sector, for a 5 week intensive prototype driven project.I researched & assessed experiences in different metaverse ecosystems to deliver a prototype for potential new engagements in the metaverse. I leveraged the existing GAP Threads NFT marketplace to reach a new target audience.

I work with a youth-led climate justice organization to lead campaigns and initiatives through community organizing to fight for collective liberation. I promote campaigns and actions on the organization's social media platforms and conduct community outreach to other youth and organizations. I help lead and facilitate consistent campaign meetings to target corporate polluters, lead mass actions, and mobilize communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis. As an Organizational Management Team member, I also serve as a liaison that holds decision making power on action proposals, hiring of new staff, grant writing, etc.

My responsibilities include guaranteeing safety to all guests by teaching swimming lessons, being aware of people in/near the pool, keeping it clean and safe for usage, and pulling covers. I teach people of all ages basic water safety skills and often communicate with students' parents in Spanish.

Completed a three-year intensive, residential college-prep program, empowering students of color to deepen their talents and pursue STEM careers. I gained problem-solving and professional development skills through weekly networking events with professionals pursuing STEM and college-level coursework.

I explored careers surrounding environmental engineering and developed leadership and professional skills. This internship included a job shadow week with a PhD student and environmental engineer at UC Berkeley, leading skill-developing workshops, and career readiness research.
