I lead and logistically manage the Credit Analyst training program at CoBank, formally named Credit Advancement Program (CAP). I guide entry-level credit professionals through the rotational program by training credit, managing logistics, and appropriately preparing them to become Credit Analysts within CoBank's lending divisions. I am responsible for the hiring, training, and placement of up to 20 associates as they develop within the 2 year program. My prior experience has successfully prepared me to lead the program. Prior experience includes being a credit officer in the Corporate Agribusiness Banking Group, Special Assets Group, and Power, Energy & Utilities Group at CoBank ACB. My responsibilities have included completing quantitative analysis and underwriting on my portfolio of customers for servicing and administrative needs; providing timely notification of anticipated financial needs and underwrite financial transactions utilizing budgets, models, and financial statements while meeting Company and Government policies and regulations. At Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc (FPI) my role analyzed technology offerings to the Farm Credit banking industry. My previous position was a loan officer at Farm Credit East, ACA, located in the Northeast where I brought in new business through relationship and customer development, underwriting, and managing an existing portfolio of customer needs. I have gained and grown many skills in lending, analysis, risk, underwriting, and technology through my various positions. These different skill-sets have allowed me to grow and better lead in my positions. They have kept me stimulated and perpetually curious and engaged in my work. I am continuously looking for new ways to grow and challenge myself while stepping outside my comfort zone.
