About Liz Burd

I love details and believe the little things make a big difference. I have worked as an event planner, makeup artist, garlic farmer, website designer, recruiter, and admissions director. The common thread between these roles is the ability to simultaneously zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in on granular details. I enjoy finding creative solutions and being a wise steward of resources. I delight in having a vision and seeing it through to successful completion. Bethel has been a big part of my life. Over the last 12 years, every few years I’ve taken on new roles and leadership. I currently lead the Center for Access and Integration which serves individuals with disabilities in a variety of ways.In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors. I live on a hobby farm with a large garden, chickens, and pigs. I love to grow nourishing food and then share it with my family and friends.
