Supported Kenyan leadership in design and implementation of community health and education programs serving 30,000 community members.

Conducted research and wrote on agricultural water productivity, efficiency, and production economics to guide a multi-year study on indicators and interventions for improving agricultural input use and production.

Liberia

Project lead for the implementation of a newly-acquired WASH program; responsibilities included establishing a project workplan, budgeting, staffing, coordinating logistics and operations, conducting staff training, managing a rapid needs assessment and baseline household survey in 50 rural communities, and developing a final report of findings that was used to guide project activities.

Managed international fellowship programs in science, technology, and health policy and research for the U.S. Department of State, the Vietnam Education Foundation, and numerous federal research laboratories, with budgets up to $11 million; responsible for comprehensive outreach programs, administration of fellowships, contract management, and evaluation strategies; led teams in streamlining office-wide process workflows to incorporate electronic data management systems and utilize best practices in fellowship management.
