A podcast for midlife empty nesters who are embracing the highs and lows of their ‘second spring'.

Aviation Industry Group (AIG) was a successful publishing, conference and exhibition business. Publishers of ATEM (Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance) and 'Airline Fleet & Asset Management'. AIG launched the AP&M Expo, Aero Engines Europe & Aero Engines Americas and numerous other international conferences. The group was acquired by UBM Aviation, now Informa. In this role, I was responsible for developing marketing and event strategies, including maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing customers and identifying new opportunities for the groups magazines and portfolio of events.

My key responsibilities were managing and developing over 20 international conferences per annum, securing speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and delegates, negotiating contracts with suppliers and developing and maintaining an advertising and marketing database. I also managed and supported staff within the office and at events.
