As Director of Strategic Partnerships I manage all potential and existing partnership opportunities with corporate partners, educational institutions, community organizations, press and media. I also direct our regional chapters on how to engage and build partnerships in their perspective regions to continue and advance the mission of Blacks in Technology

As the San Diego Group Organizer for Blacks in Technology I do the following- Provide black and other minority professionals the opportunity to network with other professionals - Partner with San Diego companies to support their diversity recruitment and supplier diversity initiatives-Partner with community and civic organizations that share similar goals and programs-Provide programming to support entrepreneurs in becoming more sustainable

As the founder and program director for the Western Regional Diversity Conference, I work with a team of individuals who share my vision of increasing diversity in tech, entertainment, and entrepreneurship that seeks to provide career opportunities and business resources for women, minorities, veterans, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities. Utilizing forums such as pop-up events for networking, speaker series, workshops, social media, and of course our annual conference, it is our goal for the WRDC to becoming an innovative platform that provides linked learning support, especially to college students, emerging professionals and entrepreneurs to help shape a better future for generations to come.

During my time at the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals I acquired many skills while working in various leadership posiions for over 5 years. - Generating frequent Internal and external communications among organization members and nonbembers utilizing constant contact.-Worked closely with webmaster to provide content for the website such as press releases, recaps, announcements, job postings, etc.- Drafting sponsorship and grant proposals for education and youth programs. -Requested product and service donations for events- Built relationships with local government, non-profit and community organizations, fortune 500 companies, small businesses as well as local public figures and celebrities,

I coordinate with international and domestic World Courier offices and airline carriers to ensure proper delivery of time sensitive and cold chain supply products such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, vaccines, organs, live mice, etc. I tracked and traced goods mitigating risks of delayed shipments. I drafted and gathered necessary paperwork required for international and domestic shipments.

Ahhh the many hats I wore at the Science Center!!Analyzed a variety of operations in the facilities management department which included inventory control, procurement, database management, forecasting, utilities, space planning, maintenance services, contract administration, safety, food services, special events, and property damage claims.InventorySupervised a team that conducted inventory count of all equipment and supplies in the operations department which included maintenance and exhibit tools and equipment, tables and chairs, and custodial supplies. Provided estimated values of all supplies and equipment and updated software database system with values.Conducted inventory count twice a month on custodial supplies to analyze usage trends.Reported inventory amounts to senior management and made recommendations on budget preparation for future purchases.ProcurementWorked closely with trades supervisors to determine maintenance services needed for Exposition Park.Wrote contract scopes of services needed for maintenance services and capital improvement projects.Interviewed and selected vendors at the most favorable price and quality of services and products.Generated specifications for RFPs for long term projects.Database AdministratorWorked with a team of analyst to implement web based Facilities Management Database program NetFacilities and trained employees on how to utilize it.Created user accounts within the database and programmed users access levels.Generated specialized and routine work orders within the database and monitored the completion of work orders.Generated invoices to third parties within the database system.Coordinated pricing of hourly rates of trades staff, engineers, and custodians used for special events and routine projects.Utilized system to analyze hours worked by operations staff.

I built relationships with corporate sponsors to provide internships, scholarships, and job opportunities for students.Met with members and prospective members to discuss individual needs. Prepared members for later job experiences by encouraging them to explore networking, scholarship, and internship opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks. Collaborated with corporate community outreach departments in the development of specialized programming. Conducted follow-up interviews with members and stakeholders to determine if their needs had been met.

I assisted sports agents and lawyers in their daily operations in marketing, contract review, legal research, and accounting.
