About Liz Devine Hewson

I am a coach, healer, mentor, wife, mother, and teacher with a deep passion for the human spirit. I believe everyone has the potential to achieve greatness and to lead a fulfilling life, while also recognizing how obstacles and challenges can make it difficult to realize that potential.In 2017, I embarked on a new career, transitioning from my role as a stay-at-home mom to a business owner. My diverse experience within the home setting along with the challenges my husband and I experienced due to his toxic work environment equipped me with a valuable perspective on how work impacts home life. Through professional coaching, I've recognized I had been fulfilling that role throughout my life.My journey is shaped by my firsthand experiences of the profound impact of workplace culture. I witnessed the positive influence of a great culture on my husband’s well-being: how it ignited his passion, fueled his sense of purpose, and contributed to his overall happiness. Conversely, I later saw the scars left by a toxic work culture and malignant boss who nearly destroyed his happiness, passion, purpose, self-confidence, and self-worth. This environment proved suffocating, leaving me feeling defenseless and impotent in the face of my husband’s struggles. I was left with a mournful realization that a piece of my husband had been taken away.This personal journey fuels my deep desire to create happier, flourishing lives within productive and engaging work cultures. Utilizing coaching, mentoring, and training, I empower individuals and organizations to thrive by nurturing engagement in purposeful and fulfilling work, and helping individuals achieve their fullest potential and find meaning and purpose in life. I possess a natural ability to connect with people, and even strangers feel comfortable sharing their personal stories with me.With a BA in Public Speaking & Theater from St. Lawrence University, I am a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index – Master Practitioner (both via iPEC Coaching) and a Certified Professional Speaker (Creative Performance Group).
