Mission MSA provides emotional support and community for patients and care partners; education for patients, care partners, and healthcare professionals; and funding for patient-centric research to alleviate symptoms, slow disease progression, and find a cure for multiple system atrophy.

Slimmer AI is a startup venture studio. My role was to build Slimmer's brand awareness, develop partnerships, and engage with founders while guiding portfolio companies on strategy, operations, and growth marketing.

Advised on marketing with Slimmer AI as co-builder. Acted as the marketing leader to develop and execute the minimal viable brand: brand identity and strategy, go-to-market communications, competitive analysis, early customer acquisition, and public relations.

Advised on marketing with Slimmer AI as an investor. Supported founder on high-level marketing strategy and hiring; coached first marketing hire and assisted with funding round public relations.

Advised on marketing with Slimmer AI as co-builder. Slimmer AI exited in January 2022 to Banking Circle.

Built and led Elsevier’s learning and revenue enablement function within sales, mobilizing an internationally dispersed team in Singapore, US, and the Netherlands, to fulfil learning, development, and sales enablement needs for 11 global teams. Focus on supporting value selling, digital customer engagement, large-scale organizational change, new business generation, market share growth, customer retention, and empoyee satisfaction. Training and enablement lead on implementations of digital selling tools such as: Salesforce, Brainshark, Highspot, Workramp, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Loom, and more.

Responsible for product marketing, including positioning, customer segmentation, and marketing efforts to strengthen the Scopus brand globally. Met aggressive market share and revenue growth goals, growing revenue from $40M to $90M in 5 years.Led a lean team dispersed across the US, Netherlands, and China to shape and execute a multi-channel product marketing strategy with a B2B and B2C focus. Worked with the agile product development team to enhance the platform based on market and customer research.Defined priority segments and corresponding value propositions, go-to-market process, tracked the competitive landscape, and assessed the strength of renewal base and pipeline. Developed and implemented a multi-channel communications strategy for customer acquisition, including content marketing strategy and execution and initiation of integrated social media channels.Enhanced sales effectiveness with improved product training and success metrics.

Developed integrated marketing strategies and go-to-market execution for 10+ media brands in the financial B2B industry (e.g., American Banker, Bank Technology News, The Bond Buyer, Payment Source). Worked closely with editorial, advertising and subscription sales, and events operations to meet revenue and growth goals for subscription, advertising, and event revenue streams.

Defined and executed go-to-market programs, including promotions and events for flagship and newly launched B2B construction media brands, related products and franchise events (e.g., Builder, Concrete Construction, World of Concrete). Promoted three times, advanced from Online Marketing Assistant to Marketing Manager.
