Lize Roos is the director of a private occupational therapy practice in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. She has worked in the field of paediatrics since graduating in 2008. She has a passion to equip, empower and encourage families to better understand how their child's challenges impact their social and emotional well being. Lize enjoys working with families to explore behavioural challenges and implement strategies to support positive behavioural change.She has extensive experience supporting children aged 0-18 with sensory integration skills, fine and gross motor skills including handwriting, social skill development and daily living skills (e.g. Feeding, toileting, dressing).Lize strives to work collaboratively with a range of professions to ensure the child, their family and extended supports (e.g teachers, grandparents) are supported in a holistic manner.Furthermore Lize has a passion to invest into training of Occupational Therapists. She believes that her role extends further than just family and child therapy to support passionate therapists to grow and develop their skills to enable us as a profession to make a more powerful difference in our communities
