•Manage an average of 40 purchase requisitions daily and assure POs are created within the 48-hour metric•Obtain quotes and negotiate to obtain best option regarding cost and lead time. •In charge of $20M portfolio totaling in over 1,000 purchase orders for 5 plants •Provide support for the Sourcing and Planning teams to ensure we are compliant with the Schlumberger Financial Manual

• Verify details of transactions including funds available and total account balances in Quickbooks• Open and assign new vendor accounts as well as approving all invoices after entered in the system• Enter customer payments into system on a daily basis and track all money received and prepare deposits. Email total past due invoices weekly to the customer.• Print checks and make sure all documents for vendors are up to date

• Coordinating approval processes for all accounts payable invoices• Responsible for making sure all bills are paid in time and filing all invoices after mailing checks. • Occasionally worked as the receptionist, answering phone calls, guiding visitors, and working on landfill tickets.
