Lizett Galan De Rosas, a Chicagoan native, and first-generation student of life. She has over 5 years of experience in undergraduate development, community outreach, and program development. Lizett is a double alumni of Northeastern Illinois University, receiving her bachelor's in English and Sociology and her M.A. in Higher Education Leadership through the ENLACE (ENgaging Latina/o Communities for Education). She's been the Coordinator of Student Success and Social Media at NEIU El Centro since 2019. As well as taught a seminar class for UIC Medicine Academic Apprenticeship Program this past Spring semester. Lastly, a Colorwave Spring 2022 fellowship alumni where she connected with professionals across the United States focusing on venture-backed start-ups.Her interests include her two doggies, book enthusiast, advocacy, participatory learning, educational equity and attainment, social innovation, DEI, fitness: strength training, yoga & boxing practitioner
