Management of the charity volunteer resource (30+ volunteers) inline with charity's strategy and mission. Recruiting, motivating, providing guidance/support, arranging training courses and overseeing volunteer schedules to ensure appropriate coverage. Monitoring and reviewing the volunteer programme and keeping accurate data. Producing reports for senior leadership. Also responsible for the community fundraising strategy. Working towards agreed fundraising targets to deliver a number of events and initiatives that both raise funds for the charity and raise its profile amongst the local community. Managing sponsored events, corporate initiatives and community events from Marathon runners to open gardens. Building relationships with local business and community groups to obtain their financial support. Preparing copy for local press, social media, flyers to advertise events and engage with supporters.
