When I started as an Analyst at Mercer over 40 years ago, I never imagined it would be the start of a lifelong career in the health insurance industry. I slowly climbed the ranks from Analyst to Principal Consultant in a time where women in consulting roles were few and far between. I initially advised on employee benefits programs, but soon realized I had a passion for student health. Through this passion, I was able to bring my relationships with carriers and knowledge of the health insurance industry to a wide range of colleges and universities with a focus on the California and East Coast markets. I have consulted with private and public schools ranging from 12,000 to 40,000 matriculated students. My consulting philosophy is to combine my knowledge of proven solutions with out-of-the-box, creative solutions. I believe that just because it hasn’t been done before, doesn’t mean you can’t do it. I hope to be considered a trailblazer and national industry leader and that my hard-work and dedication has opened the doors for many others to lead successful careers.
