Studio Assistant- tracing and altering patterns-making up toiles-organisation of pattern envelopes and making sure the studio was always clean and orderly.

My internship at House of Sunny involved working closely with the Designer on his ready to wear collection and the bespoke garments. Both departments involved pattern cutting, sewing and in some cases working on the designs and ensuring the garments were well finished. I also helped with screen printing fabric lengths.

Volunteering in the Textiles Tent at this popular Art Festival in Oxfordshire involved working closely with Textile Artists like Tilleke Schwartz, assisting them during their time at the festival and having a good understanding of their work in order to provide information to members of the public.
