Call it intuition or my calling but ever since I was a little girl, I had an inventor and entrepreneurial spirit. My earliest memories of being a visionary are when I would win my school science fairs with my creations and prototypes. In 2013, I invested my life savings into buying my first business, Puff & Fluff Grooming and Pet Sitting, right here in Phoenix, Arizona. I had no experience in owning a business and I had no idea what to expect but I was determined to start something of my own. It’s like I blinked and suddenly I’d grown that business of mine to three locations. While it felt like an overnight success, it was a true journey of hard work, self-discovery, and serious strategizing. When other business owners would ask me how I did it, I would always say the same things; systems, processes, and delegating. Then, one day, it clicked! I had proven methods for scaling businesses and they needed to be shared with other entrepreneurs, so I began Liz Illg Consulting in 2019. By 2020, in only one year after starting my digital consulting business, I’d worked with over 100 clients, tripled my revenue, and grew my team to several skilled freelancers. Now, in 2021, I’ve divided my LI brands into two sectors, Liz Illg Consulting, where I work with business owners one-to-one, and Legendary Ideas Group, where my team can build out anything and everything digital for my visionary clients.
