About Liz Duggan

Passionate about addressing hygiene insecurity, I founded Amenity Aid in 2013 after recognizing the critical need for hygiene supplies in shelters. What started as a volunteer group has grown into Rhode Island’s only hygiene bank, serving over 110,000 residents annually. In 2021, I transitioned from my corporate marketing role to become Amenity Aid's first full-time employee. Today, I lead a dedicated team of three and manage our 6,000-square-foot facility, ensuring we meet the needs of communities across Rhode Island.With a strong background in marketing and graphic design, I previously served as the Director of Marketing at the Institute for Operational Excellence and worked as a freelance consultant, helping organizations enhance their brand presence and strategic communications. I hold an MBA from California State University and a BS in Marketing from Salve Regina University, complemented by graphic design courses from the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2022, I graduated from the Leadership Rhode Island Sigma II class.I am committed to expanding Amenity Aid's reach and impact, continuously seeking innovative solutions and partnerships to tackle hygiene insecurity.
