Primary responsibilities include providing behavioral consulting services to community care facilities, school sites, community day programs, Valley Mountain Regional Center consumers, and private pay clients. Services include, but are not limited to, performing functional behavior assessment on consumer behavior and developing behavior plans, analyzing the cause of change in behavior and monitoring consumer behavior data, providing consultation services across multiple domains, communicating with consumers, families, administrators and support staff. Additionally, collecting data on consumer behavior, developing, implementing and monitoring behavior intervention plans, organizing, reviewing, and updating ISP and other reports of consumers. As well as, providing staff training across consumer behavior plans and basic behavior principles used to create behavior plans.

Assess and evaluate the behavioral health needs of clients, not limited to, those residing in Developmental Centers (DC), Community Crisis Homes (CCH), Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (EBSH), Delayed Egress Secured Perimeter Homes (DESP) and Locked Environments. Monitor, review and report on the appropriateness of the behavior plans. Provide consultation to the Community Services Units, Clinical Services Department and other stakeholders. Monitor the behavioral health services and needs of the most difficult to serve.

Responsible for implementing and sharing oversight of program services, supervising graduate students and maintaining positive relationships with the funding agencies under the direct supervision of the Behavioral Treatment Director. Graduate student supervision includes providing guidance, instruction and supervision of graduate students, training and assisting in design and implementation of behavioral assessments and interventions, providing written and verbal feedback on performance observed on site, via live, videotape and/or written products, monitoring progress of individual interventions and monitoring communication of progress to the appropriate individuals. Client-direct services include maintaining client records and program outcomes, providing clinical service, and facilitating referrals.

Primary responsibilities include evaluating client progress across multiple behavior objectives via observation and data collected by Behavior Interventionists, identifying deficit domain areas for clients in school, home, and center-based settings, and assisting Clinical Supervisors in developing comprehensive interventions to address specific client needs. Also responsible for training, supervising and supporting Behavior Interventionists working with clients and client families, managing client treatment teams and their schedules, and conducting 1:1 parent training with client families.

Responsibilities include acting as the primary therapist on multiple cases as well as participating in data collection, data analysis, functional analyses, descriptive analyses, development and implementation of treatment plans. Community based intervention services provided by the University of the Pacific Psychology Department focused on in-home interventions for Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC) consumers, Stockton Unified School District State Pre and First 5 students with behavioral concerns (e.g., aggression, self-injurious behavior, and disruptive behavior), adult board and care homes, and child crisis and step-down facilities. Interventions included, but were not limited to, Functional Communication Training, behavior management contracts, token economies, and task analyses.

Primary responsibilities included teaching independent living skills to adults from the mental health population, updating and developing client treatment plans, and documenting all outcome measures in a Medi-Cal progress note database. Independent living skills curriculum included classes on anger management, medication knowledge, social skills, symptom monitoring and intimacy and friendship.

Assisted in overseeing the University of the Pacific Psychology Department’s Behavioral Parent Training Program and Child Skills groups. Responsibilities included acting as lead instructor of an 8-10 week Group Behavioral Parent Training class focusing on specific research supported parenting techniques. Additional responsibilities included assisting in the supervision of undergraduate student interns as they implemented child skills groups related to the Behavioral Parent Training program.

Primary responsibilities included acting as a personal and legal assistant to attorney, maintaining attorney calendar and scheduling, maintain all client files, completing and filing all necessary court documents for client cases, obtaining and organizing discovery for criminal cases and daily organization of practice.

Primary responsibilities included conducting legal research for attorneys, writing appeals and motions for misdemeanor court, acting as the Domestic Violence in-court attorney assistant, Domestic Violence victim interviewer assembly of trial binders and obtaining discovery for attorneys, assisting attorneys in various steps of the trial process and attending all MCLE training programs.

Primary responsibilities included serving as a liaison for ASuop to all students services, clubs and organizations on campus, attending weekly President’s Cabinet meetings, attending weekly Senate meetings, coordinated the Campus Safety Walk with Public Safety to make progressive changes in the safety of the Pacific campus and community for all faculty and students, coordinating the “Get out and Vote” campaign to encourage political participation among students, coordinating the 2007 and 2008 ASuop elections and sitting as the Chair of Elections Committee.
