Manager, Training And Engagement Program
CurrentThe Office for Coastal Management's Training and Engagement Program focuses on serving the coastal management community by providing quality instructor-led trainings, meeting planning and facilitation services and fellowship opportunities. Grounded in adult learning theory, our experienced team of trainers/practitioners provide on-site training services on topics such as adaptation planning, coastal inundation mapping, and building risk communication skills. We also train on facilitation practices and planning effective projects. Our skilled facilitators work with partners from the beginning to design effective meetings that help the coastal management community get things done. The Coastal Management and Digital Coast Fellowship programs provides on-the-job learning and mentoring opportunities for motivated young professionals. We work across the country to provide support for NGO's, state and local government and our federal partners to manage the complex issues of our coasts.
