I am a fifth generation Californian, with an interest in genealogy, history and design. My ancestors first came to Virginia on the second supply in 1608. The fourth generation in my family to join the Junior League, I have been a community volunteer for over thirty-eight year. The San Francisco Symphony was a primary focus, where I served on the Symphonix Board as Special Events Director. In addition, I was the youngest member brought into the Symphony's San Francisco League, while still serving on the Symphonix board. I co-chaired 'Bash Before the Ball' and served on the Black & White Ball Committee. In addition, I served as a Symphonix Dinner Chair for Opening Night Gala, and served on the Symphony's Supper Opening Night Gala committee for a number of years. I was a founding member of both Bravo!Club for the San Francisco Opera and the Northern California Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.While a full time stay-at-home mother, and community volunteer, I helped a select few individuals, and companies with their social media presence. My curating & social media strategy ability resulted in an invitation to Facebook and Pinterest Headquarters. My background in specialty retail included being the Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Carter Hawley Hale Stores, Inc., at Neiman-Marcus, San Francisco, a Human Resource Coordinator, Personal Shopping Assistant Manager & Sales Associate specializing in Ralph Lauren, at Neiman-Marcus San Francisco.Assistant Store Manager at Banana Republic in Walnut Creek. Special Occasion Department Manager at Nordstrom, which included Event Planning, Marketing, and Buying. Personal Shopper & Stylist with a focus on Couture, Designer Sportswear, Burberry & Ralph Lauren, at Nordstrom San Francisco.My formative years were spent surrounded by the travel industry's very best, as well as packaging, which was our family business.
