Developer and implementer of adult learning programs. In addition to teaching classes and facilitating small groups, I designed opportunities to build spiritual practices and engage in online learning, plus edited numerous devotional booklets. With help from a vibrant, insightful leadership team, I started the Career & Calling program to help people connect their work and faith lives to grow professionally, network with our 10k+ church community, engage in mentoring partnerships, find support during times of transition, and discern the why behind their unique gifts and passions. In three years it grew to from 12 to 250+ people through quarterly breakfasts, networking events, and workshops. As an adult learning developer and coordinator I valued integrate learning with other programs within the church, collaborating with colleagues to provide meaningful and inspiring opportunities to connect and grow within our community.

Sought-after substitute teacher and contract teacher of Language Arts for middle school students, known for taking initiative, engaging students, and collaborating with fellow teachers. Tailoring rigorous curriculum for personalized learning and student growth provided opportunities to engage my strategic, ideation, and learner strengths as each class period and curriculum unit presented a distinct set of opportunities. As a middle school teacher, I valued the opportunity to work with energetic and curious young people, helping them make connections between writing, reading, critical thinking, and presenting their ideas to the world.

In addition to being a Nationally Board certified teacher of a diverse array of English classes to students from a broad range of socio-economic backgrounds and ethnicities, I co-led Patrick Henry's Professional Practice School for three years. This innovative partnership between Minneapolis Public Schools, the U of MN, and Education Minnesota provided an empowering induction model for new teachers with a strong emphasis on embedded professional development, mentorship, peer coaching, classroom-based action research, and the National Board Teacher Certification process.

Account executive for a variety of national brands (Timex, Lee Jeans, Jim Beam, Children's Defense Fund), collaborating with creatives, production teams, media strategists, and marketing research to develop brands and engage consumers to expand market share and tell brand stories in meaningful ways. Co-led the assistant account executive training program and workshops to provide ongoing professional development and mentorship to new hires and successfully introduce them to the agency culture as well as hone their communication, marketing, and business skills to insure success in their advertising careers.
