Currently a state-wide trainer for all Juvenile Rehabilitation facilities and regions. I deliver high quality and interactive training to new employees, case managers and supervisors. I have worked with the Office of Racial Equity and Social Justice to create a diverse training day founded on implicit bias. I’ve collaborated with community partners and internal stakeholders in creating a first of its kind Supervisor Academy, bringing leadership development to the everyday realities of the JR specific work environment. We focus on influencing cultural change and equitable practices. Currently developing a youth led training program where incarcerated individuals will bring their lives experiences into each training and participate in leadership development.

• Provided mental health treatment and supervision interventions to youth committed to Rehabilitation Administration care by the juvenile courts and who have a complex range of service needs.• Worked as a case manager with youth on treatment goals, commitment strategies and skill aquisitions based in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.• Assigned to a unit that focused on trauma-informed care with residents with mental health needs (depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, etc.) and residents on the Autism Spectrum.• Facilitated various groups and activities and prepared youth and their families for transition back to the community.• Performed routine security duties and monitored movement of residents within the facility.

• Mentor college seniors and other key players in team leadership, and support all players in personal growth especially through difficult life circumstances• Perform individual assessments and meetings with players to strengthen their goals• Oversee the development and training of position players and implement an offensive hitting strategy for entire team.

• Developed and cast a progressive development plan for birth to 12th grade that enhanced the overall organizational mission and vision• Mentored children and families, assessing their needs and giving them information, skills, and recommendations for the best interest of the child• Supported and cared for children with special needs and their families• Recruited, assessed, and trained over 200 volunteers; equipping and empowering them to apply their training in the community and home life• Created and implemented new strategies, trainings, and resources to partner with parents and the community in the development of children• Designed, wrote, and implemented multi-stage curriculum for 5 age groups, improving existing needs in educational development• Worked side-by-side with executive team to carry out organizational mission and vision• Created and wrote resources for kids, families, and adults that were distributed across the organization• Pivoted amid a global pandemic to create a new children resource program from scratch in a way that is accessible across all age groups in an online format

• Developed new youth (4 year olds-12th grade) summer programs for over 2,800 campers annually and grew the summer program over 50% in six years• Established new year-round camps and youth events for all ages and expanded community outreach programs• Recruited, hired, trained and supervised over 100 college-aged and 50 high school students each summer• Developed and managed a 1.2 million dollar budget, meeting and exceeding fiscal goals each year

• Created and implemented new training programs and manuals for youth, young adults and volunteers• Monitored and evaluated the effectiveness of the programs from parents, campers, and staff form the compiling of program statistics and survey data• Managed registration and customer service for 6 months.

• Managed daily recreation facility and reservations for a 4,000 member church• Assisted in event planning and implementation for Recreational and Women's Ministries with two Directors

• Recruited, trained, and supervised Junior High and High School students in counseling responsibilities• Helped propel program into a full summer day camp for K-6th graders as a local outreach to the community.

• Supported a teacher in a classroom of 21 4-year-olds by conducting playful activities, demonstrating fine motor skills and provided early childhood education• Provided after school program activates for preschool through 5th grade students space to play, question, and investigate

2 summers spent connecting life-changing bible studies in interactive team building activities. Taking campers from different churches, to build them into one team as a representation of the body of Christ.
