I am an experienced Retail and Hospitality operations manager with excellent project management and people management experience.My 25-year plus in the field experience includes store management, buying, merchandising, in the fashion industry for companies including A-Wear, Penney’s, and Brown Thomas.I trained in the hospitality sector with roles including store management for Starbucks and various restaurant management positions in Ireland, New York and San Francisco.I was the hospitality manager for people such as Nina Simone, Sir Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake and Ben Harper. It was during this time that I honed my skill set for delivering 5 star luxury customer service.I also ran my own highly successful jewellery and accessories business.My primary degree is in Science, but I also have a number of qualifications in Entrepreneurial Studies, Fashion Design, Teaching, Training, and Business.My passion for training grew when I worked as a store manager for Starbucks and was appointed as a Manager Coach Mentor (MCM). I realised my talent for communicating the procedures and processes of the company while keeping the brand values to the forefront of the experience.I have also trained as a yoga, mindfulness and meditation teacher. I studied energy healing and reiki and these practices inform my work where I can take a holistic approach to the overall project and consider the needs of all involved in a retail/hospitality space from a young part-timer starting out to the store manager and of course the customer. I am also an author and am currently working on Book 2 of my trilogy, The Crystal Adventure Series. These books are a fast-paced, punchy ride into the world of the unknown, where they not only entertain but make the reader question their worldview. They have a wellness undertone where they teach the reader all about the world of crystals and how they may be of service to us in our daily lives. Aimed at the 12-15-year-old market but can be read by any age, as they can tap into the young explorer in all of us.
