My duties flux from each academic year. In 2008 my main responsibility was to coordinate a successful mentoring program for Criminal Justice Students to mentor first time probation juveniles. This involved holding them accountable for their mentoring and advancing the program to better help the juveniles behavior. On the side I would assist Professor Jack Brady, chairman of the Criminal Justice Department, in anyway he felt needed. At times that was grading outlines or organizing events for the department.This academic year, 2009-2010 my main responsibilities are to grading outlines and planning events for the Criminal Justice Students to help advance their education in the field.

During my internship I was able to observe and participate in police activities. I spent about 14 hours a week on ride along, participated with investigators to review current cases, shot at the gun range with qualifying results, attended a crime prevention event, participated in a NIPIS (SWAT) training exercise, and overall furthered my education on the Criminal Justice System. The internship required me to keep confidentiality with cases and be a diligent worker for long hours.

My duties in the beginning were to waitress three meals a day and participate in guest activities. Because of my prior experiencing being a waitress and my standard of excellence, I was promoted to crew leader. At this position I had seven girls/waitress to manage at a four-diamond ranch. My responsibilities included coordinating schedules, organizing duties for each girl, maintaining a four diamond standard for the dining room, attend meetings with the owner and other leaders, facilitate conflicts, and work well under pressure. My crew was successful in the work place and developed good working ethics. Between all the crew leaders and efforts made, it was the first summer the ranch had profited in many years.
