Build new Community & Systems team and define roles and scope of work. Plan for and implement new community and systems work, including training and technical assistance with King County. Work with partners to improve coordination of systems, such as Help Me Grow, and Healthy Connections Online, a food-insecurity referral pathway between health care/social service agencies and WithinReach.

In addition to Healthy Connections Program Manager responsibilities, integrated previously siloed child development program into Healthy Connections, improving coordination between teams and increasing opportunities for families to access child development-related services such as developmental screening.Oversaw and supported planning and implementation of cross-systems TANF-Home Visiting referral pilot in King County Community Service Offices.

Developed and managed program strategy, program implementation, data collection, reporting, and continuous quality improvement for direct service department, Healthy Connections. Lead a high performing, culturally diverse team of 17 staff, including five direct reports. Managed program budget of $1.3 million (multiple funding sources). Maintained collaborative, productive working relationships with key partners at government, non-profit and health care agencies, including Department of Health, Department of Early Learning, Department of Social Health Services, Public Health Seattle & King County, and King County Developmental Disabilities Division.

Managed Community Outreach program. Worked with Senior Manager to support program planning, data collection, quality assurance, and compliance with grants and contracts. Managed Basic Food Outreach contract in King County, including subcontracting and contract monitoring. Improved internal process for contract and outreach plan development.Enhanced Basic Food subcontractor outreach skills and education by creating the Basic Food Outreach Forum (now Basic Food Education Forum), a quarterly meeting for subcontractors to share best practices, receive training, and build relationships with Department of Social and Health Services.

Recruited, trained, and supervised two teams of four AmeriCorps members. Cultivated partnerships with potential outreach host agencies, coordinated outreach schedule with community partners. Supervised three full time staff and provided support for the Basic Food Outreach Contract through data collection and reporting.

• Identify and screen diverse low-income clients for state and local benefit programs. Provide information, referrals, application assistance, advocacy and thorough follow-up for each client. • Coordinate outreach with community agencies and connect through provider presentations to establish and maintain partnerships. • Develop program processes, create targeted community outreach materials, and produce Bridge to Basics fundraising video. • Manage and train Bridge to Basics volunteers recruited by United Way of King County.

• Tutored students traditionally underrepresented in science and mathematics and led after-school activities to enrich student understanding of engineering.
