I'm passionate about building relationships and serving others. Growing up, my mom was a retirement plan advisor who taught me a lot about finance. I quickly realized that I knew more about 401(k) plans than most of my peers, and I enjoyed educating them. While studying at Iowa State University, I realized I enjoyed learning and teaching others. A career in the financial services industry allows me to do both. I have more than five years of experience in the industry, and I hold the CFP®, APMA®, and CPFA™, and QKA® credentials, which demonstrate my commitment to ethical and professional standards in financial planning, portfolio management, and advising on retirement plans. At CAPTRUST, I provide exemplary service to retirement plan sponsors and participants, specializing in defined contribution, defined benefit, and nonqualified plans. I also collaborate with a team of talented and driven professionals who share the firm’s mission to enrich the lives of our clients, colleagues, and communities through sound financial advice, integrity, and a commitment to service beyond expectation. In my previous roles, I worked as an associate financial advisor for a private wealth practice of Ameriprise Financial, and as a client relationship manager for the same company, where I gained valuable skills in client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling with friends and family, following my favorite sports teams the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa State Cyclones, and spending time with my cavapoo, Copper.I am always looking for ways to better myself, CAPTRUST, and my client's experience.
