EDImports: I founded this for-profit, fair-trade company to create economic opportunity for women in developing countries, specifically throughout Africa. Handmade items such as baskets, jewelry, clothing accessories, and other household and gift items were sourced from several countries in East and West Africa and re-sold to wholesale buyers in the US.After several years, I transitioned the business to my sales and distribution partner One World Projects (OWP). While the business is no longer running it lives on a bit through OWP and I am fortunate to remain in touch with many of my contacts throughout East Africa.

Co-partner in original firm Salzinger & Co which focused on e-business strategy, financing, and operations management. Opened and built NYC office and helped position firm for $13.5MM sale to AppNet Inc, which then went public.
