Raised in the small town south, but studying, working, and volunteering internationally through my late twenties and early thirties, I’m probably the only person you know who will employ the words ‘mum’ and ‘y’all’ in the same sentence. On thing I’ve noticed about virtually every person I’ve met? They are unique, with a lot to offer, and they want - and deserve - to be reminded of that. That's where I come in.In my various roles within the program and volunteer management sphere, I serve as the liaison between organizations and the clients or community members they serve; I have a proven track record of effectively and meaningfully advocating for both sides. Clients come to me knowing that I will always ensure that their voice is heard, and as my employer you can count on me to get your message across clearly to our community members, volunteers, or donors. Some things you should know about me:- I will always go the extra mile. I do everything in my power to make both clients (whether that be students, patrons, or service utilizers) and fellow employees feel appreciated and valued.- I will be honest with you. I've never been one for people who say what you want to hear. I believe in communication, clarity, prioritization, and learning from mistakes.- I believe in each person's capacity for good. I make people feel special when the world has led them to believe they aren't.A final story: The most important moments of our lives don't come up in a keyword search. As a teacher, I wrote a letter to every senior that was graduating from our small alternative high school in Boulder, CO, telling them how they impacted my life, why they were important, what I saw for their future. Years later, when I ran into one of them randomly, he said he still kept that letter pinned up on his wall to remind him that he was worth something. Skills: Volunteer/Stakeholder Management, Educational Administration, Data Analysis, Writing, Development, Event Planning, Customer Service, Program Management, Video Production, Database (SalesForce) Management
