At Bricker Graydon I have the honor of practicing law as a part of Ohio’s largest Public Finance Team. Our clients are typically governmental entities (including cities, counties, school districts, special districts, etc.) as well as quasi-governmental and non-profit organizations. In Public Finance we do the legal work to facilitate tax-exempt financial transactions. If one of our clients wants to borrow money for anything from road repairs or the purchase of an ambulance all the way up to construction of a new bridge or stadium, we ensure they are in compliance with state and federal tax and securities laws.A typical week for me includes drafting and editing financial instruments and working with other members of the transaction team to manage closings for multi-million dollar bond transactions.When I'm not at work, I spend my time volunteering, advocating and fundraising in the community. Particularly for causes related to education, outdoor experiences/summer camping and the disability community. I live in Northern Kentucky with my jack-of-all-trades husband and our two tweenage kids. On weekends we can be found attending sporting events, hiking and trying out all the ice cream shops in town. We love it here!
