Gradatim is a multi-award company creating staggered children’s picture books to aid the delivery of complex disability and illness-related news to young children aged 5 years and under.We deliver complex health information through a staggered series of books. Each miniseries is tailored per condition, allowing the children and their caregivers to go through these books in time with their treatment plan from diagnosis, all the way through to their recovery, condition management, or palliative care.

As a Training and Induction Development Officer for Home Energy Scotland, I design, develop, and manage training programs to ensure advisors are knowledgeable and confident in delivering a positive customer experience. My role involves collaborating with various teams to continuously improve training methods, maintaining compliance with the Scottish Qualification Authority, and integrating inclusivity into all training initiatives.

Collaborating in collaboration with learning designers to enhance online learning programs for university and education establishments globally, I assist with quality assurance tasks, editing, and support activities. I hold a meticulous and detail-oriented outlook on my responsibilities ensuring compliance with quality standards within tight deadlines. Utilise my design background to excel in H5P, and interactive design element creation. Proficient in Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, Miro, Moodle, Kahura, and HTML coding.

Working in liaison with City of Edinburgh Council [CEC], I work within Holy Cross RC Primary School as a Pupil Support Worker. This role entails me assisting with Complex SEN children aged 3-5 years old, to help them develop and thrive in the school.Working under the direction and supervision of the Early Years Officer, I am required to support complex SEN pupils in the classroom, nursery and throughout the school. Working primarily one-to-one with aiding SEN children, I help them navigate the learning environment through organised activities, providing targeted support strategies, physical assistance and emotional and verbal encouragement, helping each child achieve the best outcomes possible. in a day to day structure this involves, using picture cards and image timetables to plan the day, understanding and staying up-to-date with all SEN changes and IEPs.

Working dual roles at Stonyhurst College, both as an Art Technician, and a Deputy House Parent, I assisted in the running of the Lower Line Girls boarding house with the help of my Houseparent and Boarding team. I was responsible for the pastoral welfare, and safeguarding of 40 girls between 12-15 years old, in addition to assisting with the rest of the 450+ boarders in the school when required. Additionally, I also assisted in implementing the Boarding House Code of Conduct and House rules to help promote a safe and nurturing environment for students from various cultures. When required I also worked as a teaching assistant in the school, assisting the SEN students in lessons, and additionally covering classes. I also undertook external training in the position to gain certifications in safeguarding, mental well-being, and child protection and first aid. I also helped organise trips and events in the school to promote the school ethos, and provide interesting social opportunities for the students, and their families.

The role's aim was to help reintroduce the volunteering role to the University, through a variety of interactive events and trips to encourage engagement from the student body.It allowed me to demonstrate my resilience and ability to incorporate current student opinions andconcerns into points throughout the academic year, to help stem change to the campus.In turn, it significantly improved the student body’s perception of volunteering and charitable roles, and the incorporation of it into their own lives.

As the sales assistant, my rolle was to help develop effective customer and sales skills to promote and sell stock, whilst also maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanour. Through this I gained transferable skills including up-to-date cashier skills, and strong multi-tasking abilities
