During my time at the UW hospital in Montlake, I observed a variety of surgical procedures and gained valuable insights into the anesthesia process. I had the opportunity to engage with patients before surgery, and witness anesthesia administration and monitoring in real time. I developed a deeper understanding of patient care, anesthesia technique, and the importance of clear communication and teamwork in the operating room, particularly in anesthesia and strengthened my knowledge of patient safety in a fast paced medical environment.
