Started as receptionist as I needed to get some computer skills - having worked in retail so long I had no idea even how to send an email!Even though I worked as a receptionist, this soon developed into helping the designers mount up their storyboards for companies such as Rip Curl, Billabong, QuikSilver, Country Road etc as well as cost the manufacture of each line of hosiery - the yarn type, cost, processing cost etc. I then had quite a bit to do with the factory and ended up taking orders for stock and costing up batches. It was a baptism of fire!
