I have had the honor of working with women and girls with disabilities to address the inequities in traditional healthcare systems. In partnership with communities of women with disabilities, we have conceptualized and coordinated national and regional movement-building initiatives focused on increasing visibility of lived experiences within sexual and reproductive health policy advocacy. Over the recent past, we have prioritized building low bandwidth tech that empowers women with disabilities to access to community health information and services, increases the skills of healthcare providers on disability inclusive healthcare and strengthens citizen generated disability data in Kenya and across the region.
