Reporting to the CEO, I led the marketing for Southport Theatre and Convention Centre and Bliss Hotel Southport. Ahead of me was a massive project involving two re-brands, website build/re-development and producing two very different marketing and PR strategies. As well as the strategic element of marketing and PR, I was still very much involved in delivery. In my first year, I increased web traffic to the hotel site by 86% through improved SEO and social media reach for the Theatre and Convention Centre increased by 97%.

I worked on an account management basis with some of the world's best venues and promoters, including Live Nation, SJM, WWE, Matchroom Boxing, Marshall Arts and many more. I would be given a set budget for a specific event held within a major Liverpool venue (including M&S Bank Arena, Exhibition Centre Liverpool, St George's Hall and more) to develop and implement a highly effective multi-channel marketing campaign, resulting in increased attendance numbers and revenue.

While working at Revolution, I managed a team of brilliant marketing and sales professionals focusing on driving footfall for the Albert Dock bar and restaurant. Within my first year, I secured a 40% growth in pre-booked sales by rolling out a more active sales approach supported by a creative and engaging events and marketing plan. As a result of my success at the Albert Dock location, I was deployed to create bespoke marketing and PR campaigns and generate new sales leads for other Revolution sites across the country. I loved these 'reinvigoration' projects, and I was able to flex my creative muscle, help develop local audiences and drive revenue growth across sites in the UK, making a substantial impact on the business nationally.
