Small businesses are increasingly squeezed out of the digital space because they don’t have the budgets to pay-to-play. So we’ve created a space exclusively for those businesses. And we fiercely protect our domain for businesses and thought leaders who work towards purposeful change.Sustainable business doesn’t operate on the same profit margins as profit-led businesses and so can’t always afford the marketing and PR services they need to connect to their audiences, so we work with brands at prices they can afford (memberships start from circa £24 a month). But, our goal isn’t to sell your products, it’s to sell your reason for existing – why you think business should be done differently, how you’re doing things better and why this is so important and challenging and incredible. As such, Live Frankly is also a trusted platform for people to get honest, well-researched takes on sustainability and the best advice for making better decisions that align with their values. In 2011, I trained as a journalist so I could tell the stories that matter. I was working for mainstream publications as journalism became ‘churnalism’ and I knew I was compromising my values, so I pivoted and created a media platform where I could prioritise quality over quantity and tell a different story. The stories of people disrupting the status quo and working every day to build the world we all want to see. At Live Frankly we create great content. We help brands conduct research so their campaigns and podcasts have added integrity. We help to create content strategies so that brands with great stories can share them more impactfully. We help brands who don’t know how great and unique their stories are to find their voice. We then empower them to do outreach. We support NGOs and charities by giving their voices access to bigger platforms. We don’t shy away from difficult ideas, adding our voice to those who are putting their heads above the parapet on our platform, on social media, and in real-life conversations. Importantly, we only do this work for people we believe in. We absolutely refuse to work with any organisation that prioritises profits over people and planet.
