With over eight years of dedicated experience in special education (and 15 years as a teacher), I have recently stepped down from my post as SENCo/Head of Learning Support at Solihull School. I loved my role at Solihull and my mission intersected seamlessly with our collective goal to empower students with dyslexia and other SEND needs. My expertise as a Specialist Dyslexia Teacher and a SENCo, allows me to bring a depth of understanding and a breadth of educational strategies to the table. At the heart of my approach lies a commitment to fostering inclusive learning opportunities that encourage diverse perspectives and nurture every student's potential.I’m delighted to announce the launch of Learning DNA which has been a pipe dream for many years. I've honed my skills in teacher mentoring and tutoring, ensuring that my colleagues are equally equipped to support our students' unique learning needs. My efforts are focused on creating tailored educational experiences that recognize the individual strengths and challenges of all young people. This hands-on approach has not only enhanced the services we offer at Learning DNA but has also reinforced the clinic’s reputation to enable all young people to unlock their innate potential; success and personal well-being.
