As editor in chief of Goddard College's literary magazine, written and produced by the master of fine arts in writing students, I oversaw a staff of more than 30 editors. As EIC, I made all final decisions regarding content, layout and design as well as managed the reading, selection and editing of the pieces we chose to include in the issue.

So many people have stories in them, but don't think they have the tools to get it out into the world. I designed and implemented an introduction to creative writing course for adults that focuses on learning the basics of creative writing and using them to become storytellers. We worked in all genres, using a combined lecture, reading and writing class.

I write press releases, establish and maintain media contacts, arrange and distribute actor/director photos, interviews, and information, and publicize shows and events.

I write press releases, columns, and media relations materials as well as maintaining and monitoring media and contacts. I also process passports, create materials for the public such as brochures, fact sheets and informational materials for issues and departments pertaining to the County Clerk's office.

I cover events, news, features, concerts, and other areas of interest in the Buffalo area and post stories on Buffalo.com with accompanying photos. I also maintain a blog twice a week which focuses on the unique opportunities and quirky idiosyncrasies inherent in living the life of a young professional in Buffalo, NY.

I taught photography to a group of American high school students on an Excel educational travel experience to Oxford, UK, Paris, France, and Florence, Italy. In addition, I provided administrative support, maintained the trip blog and acted as a resident advisor for the students and my fellow staff members.

I write press releases, make press contacts, conduct interviews, and catalog information for the Burchfield Penney Art Center and Buffalo State College.

I wrote for the NeXt teen section of The Buffalo News which included pitching, reporting, interviewing, and writing stories involving teens in the Buffalo area. I also did a summer-long series on Thursday at the Square concerts in Buffalo and wrote frequent movie reviews through my first two years of college.

I fact-checked, researched, and transcribed interviews for editors, interviewed candidates for the Most Caring Coach award, and worked on a book project for one of the associate editors. I also researched, interviewed, and wrote two freelance pieces on travel and summer low-budget entertainment.

I answered phones, made copies, researched the department in local media, and revamped the filing system for the Erie County Clerk's Office. I also created an information packet for small business start-ups, including researching information and laws for entrepreneurs and interviewing appropriate personnel for information.
