I helped redesign old layouts of program fliers and assisted with end-of-year marketing materials. During my time working with United Way of Santa Cruz County, I developed and implemented a social media marketing plan to assist the organization with streamlining its marketing and outreach efforts via its multiple social platforms. This enhanced efficiency and created structure in the organizations marketing efforts. I collaborated with the various departments on projects, assisted with event planning and coordination, fundraising, marketing and outreach. My experience included cultivating relationships with community partners, campaign managers, and volunteers. Through research and analyzing data, I was able to help the organization better understand the needs of its' community, and abilities of their corporate partners and sponsors during the pandemic. Toward the end of my internship, I saw to the organizations campaign marketing. This included using social media to acknowledge workplace campaign businesses, highlighting board members and campaign co-chair members, as well as created new fundraising campaign media and content.
