I use legal and policy advocacy to protect large carnivores in the northern Rockies, particularly gray wolves and grizzly bears. I advocate for carnivore conservation at the state level, primarily in Montana, and I lead our campaign to drive federal land management agencies to protect carnivores from livestock grazing lands under their jurisdiction.

Focused on litigation in the Wildlife Program.

Assisted the team at RMI with various immigration cases throughout the U.S.

Continued working on the Endangered Species Act litigation I started working on at Crag.

I assisted with research and writing for a public comment in the scoping phase for California's Wildlife Management program, and on an Endangered Species Act case focused on protecting several endangered fish species.

I provided research and writing assistance for Professor Michael Blumm, including editing and updating The Public Trust Doctrine in Environmental and Natural Resources Law textbook, and managed a team of law students in the proofing and editing stages to complete the third edition. I also assisted on an amicus brief to the Oregon Supreme Court for the youth climate case Chernaik v. Brown and on a white paper on the introduction of the public trust doctrine in the Chilean Constitution in 2020.

My main focus at Crag was legal research and writing to support Endangered Species Act litigation.

Greater Denver Area

I managed a staff of between 8-12 people; interviewed, hired, and trained over 10 staff members; managed online databases and professional relationships with Grubhub, Uber, and Postmates; created expansive written operating procedures for daily tasks and menu item preparation; invented new menu items and greatly expanded the menu; increased sales through improved customer and retailer relationships.

Organized fundraising around Denver; ran sales skills training with new employees; nationally ranked for 10+ weeks for individual and team fundraising; promoted to team manager within two months of starting.
