About Lizzy Rowden

One of my role models in life is my grandmother. She and my grandfather immigrated from Denmark and when she came to the Americans, she opened her own health food store when she was 50 years old. She cared very much about health and wanted to share this love to the community. Growing up, I worked in the same health food store that she open. I was surrounded by health and nutrition and my grandmother's passion turned into mine. She was also very kind and charitable and always looking to help those around her. I have strived to be like her and I have found that I immensely enjoy helping people, especially encouraging them to improve their lives through nutrition and health. This has helped me to come to the conclusion that I want to be a Registered Dietitian.
