I am a hard-working and committed individual working creatively to produce high-quality, successful fundraising events. I pride myself on working well in a team and inspiring others as well as being confident to work under my own initiative. I am well organised and enjoy communicating with others, building my networks and seeking new opportunities for my organisation.Since entering the world of fundraising 5.5 years ago, I have discovered that nobody saw themselves in their role...and neither did I, but I love what I do and I am keen to continue my career in this sector.I have created and implemented a calendar of fundraising events which raised £100,000 in it's first year. My role includes volunteer recruitment, retention and development, building relationships with local businesses and encouraging them to donate to the charity, budget management and guiding supporters through their fundraising. I have overseen the introduction of a new CRM system, ensuring my team are using it effectively.On completion of my marketing qualification, I created and applied an effective marketing strategy. This includes management of social media pages, content creation, local media coverage and engaging literature.I value honesty, loyalty and fairness within an organisation and strive to work to these values myself.
